Programme Content:
This programme is specifically designed to improve the English language skills of those who wish to develop effective communication in the business sector, and who want to a secure a job in their specific field.
Programme Structure:
The Business English course is a 4 week course (20 hours p/w), consisting of practical business exercises (e.g. preparation and delivery of a presentation), and the development of essential business skills. Upon completion of the 4 week course the student will be placed into an internship for a minimum of 4 weeks (this is usually unpaid and is a fantastic way for students to gain overseas experience in their chosen field).
Entry Requirements:
- Working Holiday or Student Visa (18 years and above)
- 4 Weeks English Course Enrollment
- English Level: Intermediate or above (If below required English level, the student will need to take minimum of 4 weeks of General English followed by a placement test).
TESOL & TKT Preparation CourseSTART DATE: TBC Progamme Content:
This course is designed for non-native speakers of English who are interested in learning about different methodologies for teaching, the 'language of teaching' and classroom management. It aims to increase teachers confidence and enhance job prospects by focusing on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary or adult learners.
Programme Structure: - TESOL Course (4 weeks, full time)
- TKT Preparation Course (2 weeks, full time)
- Sit TKT test at MFH
Entry Requirements
- Pre-requisite English Level: IELTS Academic 5 and above or equivalent
- TKT Exam and Entry: Students to notify MFH at least 6 weeks in advance of the TKT test date
(Please note: the TKT exam will only run on this date if we have a minimum of 10 modules being sat)
