Susan Brosnan - Director of Studies
|
Susan has qualifications in Business Studies, Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages and Teaching Adults in the workplace NCALE. Susan has been tutoring students in English for many years, both overseas and in New Zealand.
Her experience includes teaching not only IELTS but also all levels of general English to groups, individuals, migrants and refugees, from children to adults. Email

Andy Falshaw - Senior English Tutor
|
Andy has a BSc and PhD in Chemistry and an ESOL qualification. He has experience of teaching English to a range of students including working with and supervising students at Victoria and Auckland Universities.
As well as working at MFH Andy is a qualified Volunteer ESOL Home Tutor, working with refugees and other migrants to New Zealand. Andy speaks a little French and German, and has also learnt some Swedish, Japanese and Spanish.

Adam Ward - English Tutor
|
After graduating from university with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology, Adam is now working towards a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. Adam has a Trinity TESOL certificate and has been teaching English as a second language for 3 and a half years, working in Slovakia, England and New Zealand.
Outside of the classroom, he enjoys travelling, playing football, eating out whenever he can afford it and lives in hope that he will eventually complete the crossword in the local newspaper!

Bronwyn - English Tutor
|
Bronwyn has a Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Classical Studies with Honours. Currently she is working on a Masters in Etruscology and Archaeology. She trained to be an English teacher in Germany with Berlitz. She taught in Mainz for over a year and has experience in Business English and teaching children's classes.
When Bronwyn is not in class you will find her on the Ultimate Frisbee field where she plays and coaches. She is also a keen SCUBA diver and loves travelling. Bronwyn has tried learning many languages and speaks a little German, Spanish, Italian, Latin and Ancient Greek.

Shelley Stacey - English Tutor
|
Shelley has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Japanese. She also has a Postgraduate Certificate in TESOL. She has taught English in Japan on the JET Programme. Shelley is currently studying towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Second Language Teaching.
When she is not teaching, she enjoys shopping, running and travelling.

Linda Bremford - Diploma Lecturer
|
Linda has a Master of Communications and a National Certificate in Adult Literacy Education, and has taught Business Studies to international tertiary students for 12 years.
Prior to her teaching work, she worked as a business writer in a variety of Wellington workplaces. She is a volunteer Job Mentor with the Wellington ESOL Home Tutor Service.

Purvi Chhaya - Literacy Tutor
|
I have a Bachelors degree in Science from Mumbai University, India with Chemistry as a major subject and a Graduate Diploma in Primary teaching from Victoria University, Wellington. I have taught maths and science to students at primary and intermediate levels in India and before this, had been working as a teacher aide for special needs children.
Outside classroom I enjoy travelling and exploring different cuisines.
