 Educational Agents

MFH works in co-operation with education agencies throughout the world. These registered agents made the right choice working with MFH and recommend study abroad options at MFH to students. MFH provides extensive support to agents and their recruitment activities.

Summary of the contract

Agent

The AGENT shall advise, evaluate and screen all prospective students and shall collect from the students on behalf of MFH the necessary application forms, reports, testimonials, financial guarantee letters, and other documents requested by MFH. These will then be transmitted to MFH.

The services and responsibilities of the AGENT to MFH shall include promotion of MFH, its programmes, and other services including accommodation for students. The AGENT shall also give advice to prospective students and parents to ensure they have a full understanding before committing to enrolment.

The AGENT will not engage in any false, misleading or deceptive conduct, such as to give student cash or other kind of inducement, or otherwise contravene any of MFH’s obligations under the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students.

The AGENT confirms that he/she has read and understood the New Zealand Ministry of Education’s Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students, copies of which can be viewed on the Ministry of Education website here.

MFH

MFH shall endeavor to provide the AGENT complete and up-to-date information on MFH with regard to the programmes, course structure, fee schedules, admission policies and other important aspects so as to assist in the proper counseling of prospective students. 

At its own expense MFH shall provide the AGENT with adequate stocks of Prospectus, information leaflets, application forms and other useful promotional materials.



Performance of Duties


In order to assist Student Visa application of Immigration NZ, MFH will provide the following documents when receiving an application from an agent:
  1. Conditional offer of place (a letter of acceptance); and
  2. Tax invoice; and
  3. Guarantee of accommodation
When the application is approved by INZ and MFH has received all payment of fees, MFH will send the agent the following documents:
  1. A receipt of payment
  2. Unconditional Offer of Place
  3. Detailed Homestay arrangement information
At all times MFH will contact the agent directly in regard to arrangements during the student recruitment process.
