English + Work Programme Introduction
The English + Work programme is specifically designed for Working Holiday Visa students that want to improve their English and find work in Wellington, NZ.
Programme Structure
-A 4 week, full time (20 hours per week) English course and a job interview* OR
-A 12 week, full time (25 hours per week) English course and a job interview*.
*If successful at the interview this could lead to a job opportunity, but depends on the applicant's English ability and previous work experience. Entry Requirements- Enrolment: Minimum 4 weeks, full time
- English level: Pre-intermediate or above
- Visa: Working Holiday Visa
Class Start Date
Every Monday Job Placement Details
- English Level: Intermediate level or above after 4 weeks English course
- NZ minimum wage: NZ $12.75 an hour before tax (estimated shared living cost: NZ$180`$250 per week)
- Job type: May include - café assistant, kitchen hand, orchard/farm/vineyard worker, housekeeping
- Students are expected to take any available job recommended by the MFH International Career Advisor
- Are guaranteed 2 job interviews
