Introduction
Whitireia New Zealand
The Faculty of Business at Whitireia offers the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) approved Bachelor of Applied Business Studies (BABS) at Level 7. This three-year programme satisfies both student and industry needs for a credible and practical study qualification. While this degree is focused on academic study, it also offers students a taste of industry experience and provides graduates with well-rounded inter-personal and communication skills at managerial level.
MFH International
MFH is an NZQA accredited provider for the New Zealand Diploma of Business (NZDB) at Level 6. This two-year programme recognises the advanced business skills, knowledge and competencies required for people to undertake business operation, planning, coordination and supervisory roles in a workplace.
Academic Partnership Agreement
At MFH, student are recommended to study the following 12 papers to gain NZDB Level 6 qualification:

Our academic pathway enables successful MFH NZDB graduates to transfer up to 11 papers. Student receives up to 220 credits toward the Whitireia BABS programme. Students will need to complete the remaining 140 credits from seven (7) subjects within a minimum of one (1) year to complete the BABS Level 7 programme at Whitireia New Zealand.
After you are transferred to Whitireia New Zealand, you will focus on the following Level 7 papers within one year:
- Project Management
- Problem Solving & Decision Making
- Change Management
- Entrepreneurship
- Strategic Management
- International Business Management
- Industry Project

Benefits of our Academic Partnership:
- Full time study for just ONE more year to complete the Bachelor Degree Level 7 ( compared with transferring credits to University, it saves one year’s time and tuition fee); and
- Focus on practical and applied knowledge and skills; and
- gain direct entry to relevant Master Degree Level 8 in University; and
- gain the second Graduate Job Search work visa (eligible to work full-time for 1 year in NZ)
- eligible for work part-time up to 2 hours per week while study
